How to Project Your Speaking Voice.

Updated: Sep 10, 2021

Over the past few months I’ve spoken to dozens of people in business who have had enough of sounding croaky and straining their voices.

Maybe you’re in the same boat - fed up and frustrated, looking at your ever-growing schedule, worrying about how you’re going to get through a day of coaching calls, a group workshop, and a webinar with your voice intact. I'm surprised you don't throttle anyone or go and hide in the cupboard for a good cry!

And possibly, like a lot of successful coaches you’re worried that one day soon you’ll lose your voice completely and it’s secretly eating away at your confidence.

That’s why I decided to create a simple and fun method that anyone can use to work with their voice rather than against it. Here are my 3 top tips for projecting your speaking voice...

  1. Relax your abs

  2. Avoid shouting - instead, change where you make the sound (see video to find out more)

  3. Use the right vocal register

I explain this in more detail in this video. Just click play and make sure the volume settings are on.

Lete me know how you get on in the comments.

Stay hydrated!
